Montauk's Safety and Operator Qualification Program Montauk is committed to quality workmanship and a safe working environment. Montauk technicians perform all service operations on pipeline facilities according to exact quality and safety standards. Montauk has maintained a rigorous Technician Certification Program for over twenty years. Technicians are certified, 40 hour HAZWOPER and Confined Space trained. Safety procedures and policies are reviewed internally on a routine basis as well as on a project basis prior to commencement of our services. Montauk Services, Inc. is in compliance with the federally-mandated drug and alcohol testing regulations as set forth in 49 CFR Parts 199 and 40 by the Research and Special Programs Administration (RSPA) of the U.S. Department of Transportation as a member in good standing of the Pipeline Testing Consortium, Inc. Montauk Services, Inc. technicians are "Operator Qualified" as per the Department of Transportation requirements 195 of CFR 49, Tasks 29.1, 29.2 (pig launching and pig receiving) and Abnormal Operating Conditions as defined in '192.803 and '195.503. Montauk Services, Inc. is listed in good standing with ISNetworld.
